I had this image in my head for a week or so before I painted it. It was hard find words to go with it. Chin up. The title. The concept: when you are down and overwhelmed your eyes are cast down and all you see is the bricks of a wall in your way. Our family's love of Mexico and Mazatlan started over 25 years ago. I was on my first cross-cultural mission experience, and for Kate her second, as we shared the gospel all the way from San Diego to Mexico City. After a few days traveling down the Pacific Coast of Mexico when we arrived in Mazatlan. Over the next few days we met the locals, walked the Malacon, meet with YWAM pioneers and prayed for the city.
