Last Night in Mexico City

Last Night in Mexico City

On my last night in Mexico City, I got an invitation to come to an open air worship time called Altar, from my friend Jose. It was starting at 8:30pm in downtown Coyoacán. Coyoacán is well know as the place where Mexico's conqueror Cortes spent his later days, Frida Kahlo painted in her Casa Azul and where many tourists come to view the famous Coyote fountain. It's also a place were we had done open air evangelism back in Nov 1993 with YWAM. I had to be up early and at the airport 6am the next morning but I really...

Plaza del Toros

Plaza del Toros

Two and a half years ago, whilst being prayed for, I had a unmistakable vision of an open air stadium in Mexico City full of young people praying and fasting for revival for Mexico. It was both vivid and unexpected. I instantly knew it to be like The Call, that I was involved with 20 years ago. But I didn’t know what to do next. So I prayed, fasted and waited. Slow down, you move too fast.

Slow down, you move too fast.

Spirit of Sonship

Spirit of Sonship

Whenever we find ourselves in a pinch, where the concerns of life are pressing hard in on us, our default, over the years, has been to set aside some time to pray and fast. It’s become a default because so often we have seen God bring breakthrough during a time of fasting and more often than not, on the second last or last day. So towards the end of 2024 we set aside a time for prayer and fasting and seeking breakthroughs from God. We have been so concerned for Kate’s health, the idea of church planting in Newcastle and...

By my Spirit says the Lord

By my Spirit says the Lord

The 13th of May was wheels up for 3 weeks in Mexico. The heartbeat of this trip was to cast vision around a United day of Prayer and Fasting in Mexico City on Day of the Dead. The vision has grown a lot in my heart over the last 18 months but now it was time to see if that could translate to others. So I created a loose itinerary and scheduled as many vision casting moments as I could and trusted that God would open doors.  A few days before I left, my elder brother Brian purchased and gave...
